Audio crackling on my M1 MacBook Air on Apple TV app

When I try to play a video on Apple TV app on my m1 MacBook Air , the audio has a. crackling noise. Surprisingly, the same video, when played on my iPhone 13, does not have this issue. I tried everything from restarting my laptop, to starting it in safe mode, to reset the cache. Nothing seems to work.

Apple TV doesn't seem to work well. everything else works fine, including YouTube on safari or chrome, amazon prime on safari or chrome. the issue is only with Apple TV app, specifically on my MacBook Air. works fine on the iPhone.

That's good to know the video works without any issues on your iPhone. Does this only happen with a specific video, or does it occur with all videos you try playing in the Apple TV app on your Mac?
