iPhone XS Keyboard keeps changing to numbers without pressing the 123 number button

I recently got an iPhone XS (I upgraded from a 8) and noticed my keyboard likes to automatically switch to numbers randomly. I don’t click the 123 number pad.

I’ve reset my iPhone keyboard and restarted my phone, it’s still a problem. I don’t have any backups because I was running low on space (but I can make a new one from my 8 I guess)

I’ve tried using 3rd party keyboards but they lag out my phone. Should I contact apple?
