Why can’t I delete US holidays calendar?

How do I remove US holidays from subscribed calendars? Why is it even there?

Hello,

The Unsubscribe section of the article has this info. As for why, we cannot answer since this is a user to user community.

Use iCloud calendar subscriptions - Apple Support

"* You can't unsubscribe from the US Holidays calendar."
