my Apple watch series 5 won't charge

Same here: tried all. The link to https://support.apple.com/kb/HT212180 (specific series 5 models in power reserve cannot charge [and need to be mailed-in]) b.t.w. is dead, I assume., because Apple has abandoned any support.

Thanks I tried that about 10 times and it didn’t work. I’m really quite frustrated and upset as well as disgusted with the lack of support from Sprint, whom I bought it from. It’s only like 17 months old.
Click on the link we are told to look at. Scroll right to the bottom and click on
“see other questions ….”
scroll down and down it is all there to see.
We are not on our own and it all happened after the Dec 13th 8.3 update.
Our watches all worked until that update.
It has stopped us using our old series apple usbA chargers.
As for being told to buy a usb c charger that means that this is the only way with only this charger and the just one usb c charging lead.
This instead of all the now e-waste old usb a chargers we had all around the house !!!

force it to restart. Press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, or until you see the Apple logo
