Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
When I create a new event in the Apple Calendar app (running iOS 15.1.1) and go to add an invitee, this list of addresses comes up automatically. I do not know these people and have no reason to invite them to anything. However, in the past we were all invited to an event on the same invitation - sent by a mutual contact.
Does anyone have any ideas for how to remove them? There is no obvious way to delete them as suggestions

Have you looked to see if these addresses are in your Contacts app?
In the past I've found some redundant entries in my Contacts pop up in the list of Calendar invitees, but removing them from Contacts also makes them unavailable for this popup list to use.

Hello David, thank you for your reply. I did check that and could not find any reference to them in Contacts. I’m currently talking to the Support team so hopefully they can assist. Take care!
