i am trying to access my messages on a desk top computer, i have checked and it showes my messages are backed up to my icloud. how do i access them on the desk top? it is not showing the imessage or sms icon.

Just to clarify, if you've been doing this What does iCloud back up? - Apple Support if so can't view it on the desktop.
