Hey. Debating on whether to get an Apple TV device to download and watch anything I’ve purchased on iTunes such as movies, tv shows and music albums to listen to. But do any television sets currently out in the market let you download iTunes or any Apple app to let you do those same things?
Also regarding Apple TV, can you watch any purchased and downloaded iTunes movie offline if the internet goes out and you can’t connect to the internet?

You can get the Apple TV app and Apple TV+ app on a compatible smart TV: Get the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app on your smart TV, streaming device, or game console

Additionally, purchased movies and TV shows can’t be downloaded for offline viewing using an Apple TV or smart TV: Redownload TV shows and movies that you purchased

Select models newer smart TV support the Apple TV app. List of Apple TV app-supported smart TVs and third party streaming devices - Apple
Select models newer smart TV support the Apple Music app (I know of select newer Samsung and LG TV models). Online content only, i.e. Apple Music subscription, iTunes Match subscription, iTunes Store purchases.

Downloaded content can be shared from a computer to the Apple TV box through Home Sharing. It might still ‘ping’ online for authentication at the start of playback. Downloaded content can be viewed/listened to truly offline on the device to which it was downloaded.
