Iphone 12 rings only once then stops

Thanks for the reply. Further investigation revealed that the setting allowing calls to be answered on nearby devices was the culprit. It seems that calls were being forwarded and disappeared from my iPhone. Don’t remember this activity before the latest update. Should be a setting to allow concurrent ringing. So not allowing this solved the issue.
