When printing from iPad the font is too large

Hi, when I try to print an email from the Apple Mail App from my moms iPad the font is too large (e.g. the header with the email addresses) and printing then happens over multiple pages with quite little content per page.

• I tried to print to several different printers and the issue is always the same (from Canon and HP)
• My mom has an iPad Pro 10.5". She has the latest OS. Also the printers are very recent (2020 models)
• I tried to print from my own iPad to the same printers and I did not have that issue. From here I assume that it is linked to the AirPrint setting on my moms device
• In the internet I found a hint to change the font size of the iPad in the "Accessibility" section in "Settings". I tried that and it did not help anything.
• I have also already installed the dedicated HP and Canon App in the hope it might update some settings - but also no luck

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? I have spent already tons of hours and this and nothing worked.
