Go up to top bar and click on View

Click on “Show Side Preview” (the dot at bottom of Mail window should now appear)

Click on dot and drag it up until the viewing pane/window comes back into view

Mac Mail Email Preview gone? I've searched high and low, I just can't find out where my email preview pane has gone. I tried to following this instruction, but I see no "classic layout" setting in my Viewing tab? To have the Preview Pane appear below the Message List: Click the Mail menu. Click Preferences... . Click Viewing. Check Use classic layout. Close the Preferences window. Any ideas as I'm scratching my head.

Apple mail preview pane missing I do not have a preview pane in Mail any more. In Catalina 10.15.7 It is not at the side, and does not appear however the \View\use side preview drop-down is ticked. dragging the sides of the wind has no effect. If I follow forum instructions and try mail\Preferences\Viewing\ use classic layout (box ticked) I am hampered by there being no "use classic layout" option in my Mail preferences, or any other mail menu. I know that Apple changed Mail to put the preview at the side, but it has been completely removed from my iMac. Has anybody any suggestion how I can unbreak Mail? Ta Frank

Retrieving Default Tool Box in Mail on MacBook Pro The TOOL bar in MAIL on My MacBook Pro running High Sierra has disappeared. I think the previous user clicked on something they shouldn't have and here is what I see How do I get it back to looking like this: Thank you for any assistance.
