How to FaceTime from my phone to my iPad

I used to be able to FaceTime my child from my iPhone to her/my iPad but now I can’t just recently. What do I need to do to be able to do that again?

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 15

Hi Franklin123 !

Thanks for clarifying that! We are not seeing any documentation stating whether or not it is expected behavior to be able to call yourself with FaceTime. You can try going to Settings > FaceTime on the iPad and choosing another option for "you can be reached by FaceTime at" and attempting to call using an alternate email address. Another option would be to create an Apple ID for your child and sign in to that Apple ID on the iPad.

Thanks. I saw that earlier but did not apply. I can still FaceTime anyone from my phone and iPad except from my iPad to my iPhone & from my iPhone to my iPad. I used to until the last update I believe. FaceTime looks different too.
