New mini 64Gb

I have an iPad mini 2 with 64Gb, currently I am taking up 42gb and my apps keep dropping and it is very slow. Will the new 64 gb mini do the same? Also, will my games transfer over without loosing my progress?

if I’m using up that much space now and I want to add more apps, should I consider the
