When it's time to buy a new phone, does my replacement phone from Asurion (through Verizon account insurance) have any trade-in value? It's an iPhone 8 Plus and on the back underneath where it says iPhone it says "Remanufactured by Asurion".

Probably not. They're going to do a check for whether it has non-OEM parts. Even though refurbs use new batteries, having an aftermarket battery is likely the kiss of death, even if everything else is Apple OEM.
