MAPPING MY WALK

I see this was a known problem back in 2020, but it's 2022 and I have a brand new watch 7, with all the proper privacy settings on both phone and watch. There is no "Map" option in my activity, only steps, trends, minutes, etc. Does anyone know where the "map" feature is hidden? Thanks in advance.

To see the map, you must turn on route tracking. On your iPhone, go to Settings >

Privacy > Location Services, turn location services on then tap Apple Watch Workout,

then tap While Using the App.

Then tap on maps then tap While using the app.

Then tap on System Services and turn on motion calibration and distance.

Another place to check is on the watch in settings/privacy/Location Services and make

sure this is turned on and scroll down to apple watch workout and select while using

the app.

Thanks, yes, I've done all that and then again after reading the many queries of the same nature from 2020 and 2021. Also unpaired and re-paired. There is no place to tap on "maps" in either the phone or the watch; the option doesn't exist as far as I can see. I know this was a known glitch with earlier watches, I had hoped it had been resolved by the 7.
