How do you stop a reset when you didn’t mean for it to occur?

So my daughter who is 13 just came to me freaking out because she has a black blank screen on her iPhone and then this popped up

support.apple.com/iPhone/restore

with a power cord showing her to connect the iPhone to connect the iPhone with a computer or laptop

how can we stop the reset process without losing any information?

At that point it's gone. It could also be corrupted, which means it needs a computer to perform the process of rebuilding the operating system.

I know it's tough dealing with loss of data, but certainly in the future consider doing regular backups - preferably to a computer.
