Are Safari cookies stored in iCloud?

I needed to delete some cookies on my desktop Mac. As long as I was there, I deleted other cookies from privacy invading sites (e.g. Facebook, which I don't use). I was hoping that the purged list of cookies would be saved to iCloud and then carry over to my iPhone and iPad. Unfortunately, the purged cookies are still on my iPhone and iPad.

Q1. Are Safari cookies saved to iCloud like bookmarks and history? If the answer is No, then clearly I must separately purge cookies I want gone off each device.

But, if cookies are saved to iCloud....

Q2. How can I propagate the smaller list of cookies currently on my Mac to phone and pad?

Appreciate wisdom of the crowds.

Websites viewed are saved in form of cookies from an individual hardware address of device Mac / iPad / iPhone set up on the same network even they are signed in with same Apple ID and password .

Clear your browsing history in Safari on Mac – Apple Support

You can remove all records that Safari keeps of where you’ve browsed during a period of time you choose. If your Mac and your other devices have Safari turned on in iCloud preferences, your browsing history is removed from all of them. Clearing your browsing history in Safari doesn’t clear any browsing histories kept independently by websites you visited.

tygb,

Thanks , your reply answered my question. Your first sentence tells me that each device has unique cookies, so there will not be a merged file of all cookies saved to iCloud. So, if I want to remove, for instance, login credentials for Facebook or New York Times I must delete that cookie from each of my Apple devices.

User name of social media account are saved in safari preferences > click on password section > enter admin password , select that website > click on edit > delete password or its your choice to delete the complete address ( select it and click on subtract sign ) .

Regarding cookies for web sites they are saved in a refined way in user library > in a folder cookie .

To enter user library , click on finder > Go > keep on holding option key > click on library .
