The obtrusive site, opens regularly, which I am not interested in

Hello know-it-all community

I have a problem, every time I open my browser it opens the same website

I don't know what to do about it, I tried searching for an answer on Google, but all I found didn't help.

I deleted all the cookies, all the history, it does not help, as soon as I close the browser and reopen it, every time opens this intrusive site.

How do I fix it? Please help me

I have a MacBook 13-inch laptop like this

Do I need to buy a new laptop? Oh God, I wouldn't want to do that, I'm fine with this one.

If that did not work. Go back into Safari preferences, privacy, manager websites and delete all. Also check extensions in preferences and delete or turn off any extension. You can turn them back on one at a time and try it. if one of them causes the redirect delete it. Also check under General for correct home page and search for correct search engine. If you can get to google search, download Malwarebytes free and run it. You could have adware causing this. You can also type Malwarebytes.com on the top panel in Safari to go to the download site.

No. Force Quit Safari and open holding the Shift Key down. That should fix the issue.

If you want to take a deep dive, then you could go into Safari's Preferences, Select Privacy, click on Manage Website Data, Search for "bit.ly" and delete those cookies.

Good as new.

Thank you so much for your help. Unfortunately, I was forced to take the laptop to the repairman. They installed some software that updated the spam extension that did all this. They uninstalled it and everything was back to normal.

That didn't help, unfortunately.

I don't know how important it is, but ten minutes after starting the MacBook, the fans start rustling like crazy. That never happened before.
