Whats App Wifi Issues - Local Network Toggle for Whats App - iPhone 13 Max, 15.1

I am having issues with Whats App while on Wifi. I have researched and I need to toggle the Local Network to on - but neither Whats App or iPhone settings give me this option. Does anyone know where to find it or why it is not showing? All apps updated and running latest iOS.

I do not turn on this feature on my iPhone 12 Pro as I am very cautious about how WhatsApp will profile me using this feature.

Either way, WhatsApp works great for me without enabling it.
