Location services arrow continuously showing.

I’m having an issue where the arrow next to the time will not disappear even after I have toggled it off. I know the toggle switch does work to take it off since it works on the other iPhone I have. The only time I can get the arrow to disappear is when I turn off location services. I should also note even when I turn focus on it will not disappear. Anybody have any ideas or anyone else experiencing this issue? On the other iPhone the arrow will come and go, but it will not stay on continuously.

The Location Status icon is working exactly as it is designed based on your settings.

Notice that the location icon is NOT filled in. It is hollow. This arrow is displayed when location services is set to ON. When an app or a process requests your iPhone’s location, then that icon/arrow gets filled in. Once the location has been established by the requesting app, then it goes back to being hollow. Works just as designed.

You have turned the status bar icon switch to OFF. That switch only affects the ‘services above’ which are Analytics, Traffic and Map important data.

That’s weird as when I use the other iPhone and toggle it on and off the arrow will turn on and off so not sure that is true.
