Hi Vlad1993,
It sounds like you're wondering about opening links in another application and if you can choose which tab group in Safari it opens in. We're glad you've joined us in Apple Support Communities. Let's see if this helps.
Depending on the application, you can hold down the Control button on your keyboard and click on the link, and you may get the option to "Open link in Tab Group." You can then pick that option and then pick the tab group you want the link to open in. You can test out this feature in Safari to see how it works.
If you don't see the option outlined above for the application you're working in, then that app developer does not offer that option. In that case, you'll want to reach out to them for more assistance using the steps in How to contact an app developer.
Another alternative is to open the link how it normally opens (in the wrong tab group) and then Control + Click on the tab title itself in Safari. There you will see an option to "Move Tab Group" and then you can move the window to the correct group. You can also drag the tab to the correct group as outlined in the section "Open a tab in another window" in Use tabs for webpages in Safari on Mac.
If the issue remains after following those steps, let us know what options you had a chance to try from above.
We hope that helps with your question and take care!
