To Setup Auto App updates:
- Open Settings
- Scroll down to App Store and tap on it
- Turn on Auto App Updates
To Setup Auto iOS, or iPadOS Updates:
- Open Settings
- Tap General
- Tap, Software Update
- Tap Automatic Updates
- Enable Download iOS Updates
- (if you want) Enable Install iOS Updates
this is the same way to setup auto update on iPad and iPod Touch.
