vertical or horizontal adjustment of photo
One can adjust and edit the Vertical or Horizontal perspective on a photo/image on an iPhone, but can't do so within the Photos App on iMac?? What's up with that?
iMac 24″, macOS 12.1

To clarify, I can adjust/straighten perspective within Photos App on iPhone but that is NOT an attribute (at least one I can see/find) within the Photos App on iMac...that makes ZERO sense...See screenshot from iPhone ---
O.K. Now I see what you mean. I think the workaround is to edit the perspective on your iPhone and then Air Drop the pic to your Mac. I assume that the edit will carry over. Awkward to be sure.
Odd that the feature is not available on Photos for Mac.

To clarify, there is NO ability to change the perspective on a photo within the Photos App on iMac, while there IS the ability to do so within the Photos App on iPhone (see screenshot) why on iPhone Photos App but not iMac??? Having the ability to adjust vertical perspective is essential for architectural shots
Rich - Bingo! Odd indeed, perhaps an oversight, OR is the thought from Apple that most folks working on editing their photos likely use a 3rd party App that includes a wide range of attributes including editing the perspective? Still bizarre that Apple would have it on iPhone Photos App but NOT on iMac/Mac Photos App. Thanks! ~ Dan
Hi
When in crop mode make sure you have the freeform aspect ratio chosen.
When you click on Edit you can adjust the aspect ratio of a photo to any dimensions that you want.

No, you're correct. That is not a feature on Photos on Mac.
You are very welcome. 😊
