Other than inserting a full URL in the body text of your email, the native Mail App does not provide facility to creating hyperlinks.

You may need to investigate external solutions for creation of hyperlinks, such as using the Apple Shortcuts App - either creating a shortcut of your own, or using a pre-existing shortcut from the Shortcuts Gallery.

Hi ssfw, thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.

At this time the method I have been using, which can be a little tricky, is that once I have included my link in my composed email, I can edit the link but I have to be careful I do not completely erase the link.

So to rename it, I type my new name somewhere in the middle of the link and then remove the other name.

It a manually process and not ideal but for now that's the only way I know how to do it.
