Can't Get GeoComply to Work

It sounds like an app is not correctly showing your location on your Mac.

Here are some isolation steps and resources that can help:

• Ensure your Location Services settings are correct Allow apps to detect the location of your Mac.

• Test other apps such as Maps Show your current location in Maps on Mac.

• When it comes to your network, if you have any VPN software, temporarily uninstall it and test again.

• Create a test user to see if it is something only related to your user account: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac.

If it is related to your Wi-Fi, you may want to contact your internet provider for help.

Thanks for your reply. It sounds like you were able to get it working but you don't want to see the Location Services icon in the menu bar. You can turn the location icon in the menu bar off in System Services by going to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Location Services > System Services [Details] and turning off "Show location icon in menu bar when System Services request your location" at the bottom. Check out "Specify which apps and system services can use Location Services" in  Allow apps to detect the location of your Mac to learn more.
