iPhone 12 is hot performing basic functions

My multi week old iPhone 12 will in general get extremely hot rapidly doing some customary stuff. Like paying attention to webcasts over bluetooth, streaming music over bluetooth, perusing, and so forth I just consistently feel like the rear of telephone is getting hot, not simply warm. 😢

This is something my iPhone 8 was doing just when vigorously utilizing camera.

Shockingly this doesn't appear to release battery quicker.

I'm simply contemplating whether I have a defective unit, and I should simply bring it back.
