I’m using an iPhone 8 + and I can’t adjust my volume or hear anything from my phone, I tried calling someone and it won’t let me go on speaker either. I don’t know what else to do

Has any else had this problem?

Hi zion2234,

Welcome to the Apple Community.

Wondering which iOS version is installed on your iPhone 8.

Re: can’t adjust my volume or hear anything from my phone

Have you tried turning your iPhone off, and then back on yet ?

Strange you cannot adjust volume ...

could your iPhone be stuck in headphone mode ?

See:

If your iPhone is stuck in headphone mode

or

screen time may have turned off iPhone use ?

or

could "mute" be on in the app you are using ?

Re: it won’t let me go on speaker either. I don’t know what else to do

Have you:

Checked the sound / volume settings are all ok ?

Tried asking Siri to "Turn up the volume" ?

Checked "Control Centre" sound settings ?

Asked your provider if there is a problem with your service ?

Checked if "Silent" mode is on or off ... any difference ?:
