Water fell in my MacBook pro

Hi all..so the one time I don’t have a keyboard protector I spilled water on my keyboard! I immediately turned it over and dried it. Noticed that water started traveling through to the screen. I turned it off after speaking with apple because I didn’t know this step. So I have it with the screen laying flat on the table under a towel at 90 degrees. A fan blowing on it.


what else should I do? There is no apple store open close by. Mobile Kanagaroo is available and I will drive an hour to have them look at it tomorrow. Any advice please?

Do not turn on the computer. It needs to be inspected by an authorized service center. Liquid damage is often extensive and ongoing due to corrosion.
