parallels and location of a windows app configuration file

Hi,

I run a B&B and my previous PMS platform is ending operations. Imagic has software compatible with my existing booking engine however Win only for now. I am attempting to use a trial of Parallels 17 and a trial of Imagic hotel reservation software to evaluate the combination. When i attempt to run the Imagic software, there is an error on locating the configuration file. I have all windows files shared to the mac, and vice versa. The Documents folder on the mac is on my icloud, and it is not clear how I can move it back to the local machine even after looking at a couple of Apple articles. The warning when I uncheck the box doesn't give me a warm & fuzzy that I won't lose files. I can see the config files in Windows Explorer and Mac Finder, but apparently the software cannot. Any suggestions? The Imagic company is in Australia so there is a considerable lag between when I ask a question and when the response comes back, even though they are being responsive. Any thoughts? TIA, Roger

The last response: Both the Trial and Full Edition need to find the configuration files in order to start. What might be easiest is to do this from Windows, since it's giving you the folder it's looking for.

    So you could:

    1) Open Windows, launch File Explorer.

    2) Copy/paste into the folder the following:

    \\Mac\Home\Documents

    3) That should open that folder.

    4) Copy the folder from here to that location

    \Documents\iMagic Hotel Reservation
