Hello, I would love to use the upgraded reminders on my office Mac. It runs Monterey 12.0. But in the Reminders app, the feature simply doesn't exist! The relevant buttons are missing, there are no smart lists and it doesn't react when I enter a #hashtag. My private Mac on Monterey 12.1 is just fine. What gives?

Boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.
Thanks but no change. Apparently it works only if iCloud is activated for reminders which I can’t do due to company policy. This is undocumented and a frankly idiotic oversight.
Tell Apple what missing features you'd like restored or new features added to the system via Feedback - macOS - Apple.
