Snapchat Notifications While Apple Watch is on Charge

For the past month I have an issue with my Apple Watch and Snapchat notifications. My watch will be charging and will vibrate whenever a Snapchat notification is received. It seems to only do this with Snapchat notifications. I’ve deleted the Snapchat app. Restarted both my phone and the watch and made sure the watch is up to date. There is nothing in either the watch notification setting or snapchat notification settings that I can see to correct this.

it only seems to have happened since watchOS 8 was launched.

Any advice?
