Messages different on Mac than iPad/iPhone...

Hi, I'm getting text messages on iPhone and iPad that will not appear on my Mac Pro running Big Sur.

So when someone sends me a text, any idea as to why I'm seeing messages on my iOS devices and not my Mac?

If I start texting on my Mac, everything is fine. It's only when someone sends me a text.

Thanks!

Go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud, and toggle on Messages on an iOS or iPadOS device.

On a Mac, go to Messages in the menu bar [once messages is open of course], then Preferences (or do Cmd + ,) and then select the iMessage tab [if it isn’t in that tab, try the other one] at the top, and then turn on Messages in iCloud. There’s also a manual synchronise button there so once you’ve done that on your other devices you can try to force your Mac to synchronise.

Do note, it is a synchronisation service, so messages deleted on one device will delete on all.
