The charger that cam with my iPad won’t fit

Thank you J_NH, if you purchased the iPad Mini new and the cable and brick that came with it do not fit, then you should be able to have them replaced. I would suggest you contact Apple Support.

You can do this as follows:

• Online:--> Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple;
• Contacting a local Apple Store or AASP among the list provided above but also again as follows Apple – Location Selector; or
• Using the "Apple Support" app, available and downloadable from App Store.

I wonder if you maybe are trying to connect an iPhone cable to the iPad which is why it will not fit.

The iPad mini 6th Gen uses a USB C cable whereas the iPhone cable is Lightning.

Are you using a USB-C to USB-C cable? Are you using a USB-C power brick like the Apple 20W USB-C power adapter? The connector is reversible, so it should fit any which way.
