Activating new phone, but it is saying I haven’t turned off find my iphone
Hi there Raidersix,
We understand you're unable to activate a new iPhone because Find My is still turned on for your old iPhone. We're glad you've joined us in Apple Support Communities, and we can help.
"If you're using iCloud and Find My [device] on the device, sign in to iCloud.com/find or the Find My app on another device, select the device, and click Erase. After the device has been erased, click Remove from Account." Follow the steps in the 'If you no longer have your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch' section of the related article linked in blue at the top left corner of this page to learn more.
We hope this is helpful.
Take care.
