Apple mobile device (Recovery Mode)

The Ipod screen show the Itunes logo with the USB wire and on the computer, the Windows find new hardware wizard shows "Apple mobile device (recovery mode)".
This happen after the recommanded upgrade of the Ipod OS 4

Thanks for the post but the alert is for Mac.
In windows, the system is looking for a driver for a new devices and until I have that I don't think it is going to work. The Connect to Itunes screen is the only thing I see on the Ipod.
I never see the red slider or any other screen and the IPOD as been charged a while so it is full.

I can't find the part where is says "for Mac only", but entering recovery mode is the same for Windows.
