Want to give my iMac (late 2013) to my daughter. How do reformat the hard drive to remove my data?

erasing intel mac to give to my daughter I have an intel mac (late 2015) that I want to give to my daughter. Can I erase all the data and personal settings and still keep the latest macOS?
