Welcome Cryptocrunch94,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, you're having issues with your AirPods Pro. We'll do our best to assist with this.

It sounds like you are trying to update the firmware on your AirPods Pro, but haven't been successful. What issues are you having with the AirPods Pro exactly?

The firmware on the AirPods are updated along with your Apple device updates. Which means, if your Apple device is up to date, then you're likely updated on firmware. To push a firmware update, we'd try the following:

  1. Make sure the Apple devices are up to date: Update your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and Update macOS on Mac If you don't have access to an Apple device personally, borrow one from a family member or a friend.
  2. Ensure the AirPods are within Bluetooth range of the updated Apple device.
  3. Listen to music or other audio content with the AirPods for at least 30 seconds.
  4. Put the AirPods back inside the Charging Case and close the lid.
  5. Use the Lightning Cable to connect the Charging Case to power. Wait 30 minutes. Then reconnect the AirPods with the updated Apple device again.
  6. You can check the firmware version on iOS devices under Settings > Bluetooth > AirPods (in version iOS 15).
  7. Try pairing the AirPods to another device: Set up AirPods with your Mac and other Bluetooth devices Then attempt these steps once more.

Should it continue to occur after these steps, then we'd recommend bring the AirPods Pro in for an inspection: AirPods Replacement, Service, and Repair

Bring the AirPods Pro (with Charging Case), a photo ID, and the original receipt to your appointment.

Select your region and search nearby for locations: Find Locations

Due to the current conditions around the world, some stores may have limited hours or appointment times. They also may require specific things to visit them (Such as, scheduling an appointment, wearing a mask, calling to check-in, etc.).

Wishing you well, take care.
