There are a few options.
If you backed up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, restoring said backup onto the iPhone 12 will transfer all data including photos to the iPhone 12.
If you did not do that, or do not wish to wipe the iPhone 12 to transfer the photos, you will need to transfer them to a computer and then move them onto the iPhone 12 with iTunes or iCloud Photos.
