apple watch

When I long hold the power button it automatically turns off. It does not give me any slider options. What should I do?

Try restarting the Watch. You can also do a reset on the Watch. Press and hold the Digital Crown and power button together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The Watch will reboot. Test after that.
