Logic Pro Freeze Tracks (audio) not working
Hello :-) I've had this issue since Catalina, I'm now with Big Sur.
- Upon startup of my Intel Mac Pro (a 12 thread, late 2013 with 32gb ram) and opening Logic Pro.
- Once I hit play, Logic goes into re-freezing previously frozen tracks; and thus deletes the previous saved freeze files.
- This specifically happens after my Mac has been shut down and I restart everything.
It's seriously killing my work flow and time. I've noticed others on the web having the same issue - though without any true stable success.
- I've reinstalled Logic, the OS, made substantial room on my internal SSD, disconnected iCloud Drive and various apps not related to my sound production work.
- Purgeable space on my internal drive shows 3.12 gb of space. Though I've also cleared it as well, but still the issue persists.
I've tested/created, small new project files with just a few tracks of audio and the Freeze seems to work fine. Though with my projects that have become more intensive or older, with much audio this is where this issue arises. Project files range in the size of 400-700mb.
I'm at a loss and Logic (to my knowledge) has no tech support. Logic "Pro"??
Any doctors onboard here?? Your help to resolve this, is seriously most appreciated - thank you. :-)
