Storage almost full - 12GB free space

Dear all,

my iPhone (Version15.2.1) notifies that my

storage is almost full. Even though I have 12 GB of empty space.

This 'bug' is persistent since

version 15. It first appeared because my storage was indeed almost full, but

since then I removed 10 GB of files from my phone. The warning never stopped

though.

I constantly see the message in my settings

menu and receive a toast notification every couple of days. I of course already restarted my device...

I read that resetting my phone can solve

this problem, but I hope you are not seriously suggesting that the user has to

reset the whole phone just to get rid of one message...

I understand, that you want to push your

iCloud service, but forcing it on the user in this way isn't very customer

friendly. Please consider addressing this issue.

Best,

Thank you for your reply, but I strongly disagree.

Out of 64 GB. It is almost 20% of free storage, which means there is definetly still enough free space and I don't need to buy a subscription for iCloud or remove any additional data.

Heck, even 10% free space is enough to not show a warning or at least provide an option to remove the warning.
