Apple News

I recently got the iPhone 13 and now within Apple News none of the photos within a story will load. I get a couldn’t load content message. I have deleted and reloaded the app and it doesn’t help. The battery saving feature is not enabled.

Hey CarrieMillie,

We see that your Apple News app isn't loading any of the photos within a story, and we'd like to offer some assistance!

Are you only having this issue with your iPhone 13? Do you have another device that you can try loading Apple News to see if you experience the same issue?

If you haven't yet, try testing this out while you're connected to another network. Let us know how it goes.

Cheers!

Hey CarrieMillie,

Thanks for keeping us updated with the results. We appreciate it!

It sounds like this is a network related issue since it worked when you disabled your Wi-Fi. Once you enable Wi-Fi, does it work again? It's possible that the Wi-Fi network didn't connect well to your iPhone 13 at the time you tried loading Apple News.

If the issue persists in the future, try resetting your network settings to see if it helps. To do this, go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > select Reset Network Settings.

Keep in mind that resetting your network settings will clear your current cellular and Wi-Fi network settings, including saved networks, Wi-Fi passwords, and VPN settings.

Additionally, follow the steps from the article here if you have any issues with your Wi-Fi connection: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't connect to a Wi-Fi network

We hope this helps!

Best regards.
