Location on new iPad

Just got a new iPad mini. I live in New Mexico. I noticed that the Weather Channel widget thinks I'm in Cupertino CA. What do I need to set so that It knows where I am?

It is just the default setting for the widget, Cupertino is where Apple is based. Press and hold on the widget, and tap ‘Edit Weather’. You should be able to add a different location.
