I keep seeing suggestions from Wikipedia whenever I lookup a word in my iPad( by selecting a word and then clicking on lookup) Is there a way to disable suggestions from Wikipedia so I can view results from dictionary only?
I think I am experiencing a similar issue. Let me clarify what I am sure the author meant.
When a word is looked up the desired output is a definition or a translation (depending on settings), however, in many cases a Wikipedia article shows up (with no definitions/ translations)
For instance, when I want to look up definition of the word “airy”, which means «not treating something as serious; casual», I get a Wikipedia article about someone named George Biddlle Airy (see the attachment).
That diminishes the convenience of look up function. Before, I was able to translate/define any word and carry on reading. Now because of this Wikipedia article issue I have to go to thesaurus and search the word up.
So, the question is: how can I turn off Wikipedia suggestions or at least not have exclusively them but also the translation/definition along with them?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. We saw your post about results when using the "Look up" function on your iPad, and we're happy to see how we can assist.
To confirm, you're highlighting text and tapping "Look Up" and you sometimes see Wikipedia results. Is that right? We did some testing and it looks like the results will vary a bit depending on exactly what you're looking up. Does this happen with everything you look up? Do you see results from Dictionary as well as the Wikipedia suggestions? Knowing this will help work out if what you're seeing may be normal.
