I have been unable to update my iMac with the 2020-005 security update. Any ideas why it won't download?
iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13
What OS version are you on now?
Are you running any VPN, Anti-Virus, or Cleaning apps?
Any error messages?
Start with this...
Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes.
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

So far after safe boot, no pop ups, looks like normal..in safe mode anyway. I will try again after log off and regular start up..Thanks
