Hard case covers for MacBook Air 13" A1466

That entire combination is bad news for the 2020 M1 MacBook Air.

First, there is very, very little space between the keyboard and screen when the MacBook Air is closed. Putting a keyboard cover and/or a screen protector would likely eventually, if not immediately, damage the screen and/or keyboard.

Second, plastic is an excellent insulator for heat. The M1 MacBook Air has no fan and relies on its metal case to dissipate heat built up on the inside to the outside air. Putting a plastic case on it is like putting an overcoat on it trapping the heat inside and allowing it to build up.

There are many nice "sleeves" available that you can slide the MacBook Air into when carrying around and provide a soft surface to place it on when you are using it.
