iPad mini 2 - Amazon app won’t load. Says I need newer iOS

I have an iPad mini 2 and my amazon app won’t work. Says it needs a newer iOS version but the mini says it has the most recent OS version for it 12.5.5

any suggestions on how I get can amazon app to work?

Updating apps on iPad mini using 12.5.5 My iPad mini runs 12.5.5 which I understand is the highest OS available for this device. However presumably because of this I can’t update or download apps such as eBay or trainline. Is there a solution for this?

App already purchased won't open on old MacBook I purchased Visible Body's Human Anatomy Atlas app yrs ago $50. I cant update it on my MacBook as it is too old to perform updates. Can I make this company give me the latest version on my new iPad since Ive already purchased it?

The only suggestion is.......... buy a new(er) iPad.

iOS 12.5.5 is the last version for an iPad Mini 2.
