Why is it so bloody difficult to schedule a Genius Bar appointment?

I need to schedule a Genius Bar appointment for an iPhone 11 Pro. Why is this process so difficult? There is not a clear path to accomplishing this. I've tried going through this over the phone, but that has not worked. Does anyone have a proven system for this?

Tried Get Hardware Help at https://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/ or start by selecting a store from https://locate.apple.com/findlocations

Make sure you choose something like broken screen so the system automatically wants to offer repair options, like a store appointment.

Sure. Go to an Apple Store and ask for the person who handles check in. I've gotten appointments that way. You might also be able to ask if there are any drop-in slots or same-day appointments.

Other than that, it's not that hard if you've got the Apple Support app. But on the web it's not bad as long as you're logged into your Apple ID.

https://support.apple.com/contact

Click on iPhone and then whatever is next.

What specifically do you need?

What exactly are you looking to do for a Genius Bar appointment? Maybe we could do a sample run to see if we might be able to find a way. I had no problem when I wanted an appointment to fix a screen assembly.

But other than that in person is the way that's probably the easiest. And sometimes they might be able accommodate someone immediately if there are open slots.
