Chinese Japanese Keyboard in iPhone Backup-
Hello I have been hacked badly (AKA remote hacking). The remote hacker(s) eventually took over my devices (iPhones, MacBook Pro / Air & iPad hackers created new notes messages, wrote & sent text messages to my friends on my behalf and finally, I was blocked all text messages and phone calls that came in. A nightmare to say the least 😤🤯😡
Worst of all, I eventually lost complete control of my iPhones and locked out of my those Apple IDs.
I have never seen this strange Chinese/ Japanese keyboard in my backups (I have had severed upgraded iPhones for over 2 decades) and my devices reimaged completely by wiping the software.
Given the remote hacking and having had many brand-new Apple ID accounts & iPhones, devices since 2018… I cannot help but think this is MALICIOUS MALWARE — NOT from Apple. I have seen this same keyboard backup on some of my Apple IDs and not others.
Additionally, 1) I have searched all throughout my compromised devices & settings for this strange Chinese / Japanese keyboard — And found NOTHING, except in the backup.
2) When I’ve visited Apple stores, I’ve asked the Genius Bar Team & showed them this keyboard… Not one person there ever heard or seen this. If it was actually from Apple, I’d think the Apple folks would know about it.
3) Apple has a ton of information under its help section, yet there are zero details or anything about it.
4) If it indeed belonged to Apple as they stated, I would think Apple would have info about it: the purpose of it, explain why it appears in some Apple ID backups and not others etc.
ASKS:
• I’d really like to know more about it, where it’s located on the given device and how to delete it.
• Apple — I would greatly appreciate if you would shed some light for us on this. I truly don’t know, I suggest your security team looking deep into it as it’s a big concern.
• Community — I welcome your insights as well.
Thank you all!
