I cant remember my 28 digit recovery key code and im now locked out of my icloud account
How can I get rid of the 28 digit verification, I can't remember it?

You cannot. It is imperative, if using an account recovery key, that you retain the 28 character key. Without it, you will loose all access to that AppleID.
Apple cannot help you recover an AppleID you’ve enabled account recovery on. It is up to you to keep that key stored or written down somewhere you can always get it when or if needed.
