Recently , a small white square appears when the cursor is over the bottom R corner of the screen - if I leave the cursor over this area , it grows out onto the screen into a larger blank white square that sits in the corner.......does anyone know what this is .....& how can I get it to go away?

hi, thank you for responding.
Maybe it is a new Notes feature , but mysteriously it doesn't respond to the keyboard so it doesn't allow taking notes!
